Carboline
Carboline Carbotherm 551 is a water-based insulating epoxy coating. Thanks to its thermal insulation functions, it helps to reduce maintenance costs, protects workers and improves the operational efficiency of storage tanks and vessels.
It reduces the effects of solar radiation and accumulated heat, without which evaporation emissions could occur in tanks containing hydrocarbons or other charges.
The Carbotherm 551 provides up to 60% energy efficiency when applied at just 4-6 mm. In a single layer it protects against heat caused by solar radiation keeping the skin temperature cooler. In addition to the physical properties, epoxy resists acid or caustic vapors and splashes or spills, ideal for industrially aggressive applications.
