Boeing Uses AkzoNobel Paints in New Aircraft Production

altInternational. AkzoNobel was chosen by aircraft manufacturer Boeing to paint the 1,000th model of its 777 jet line, which has grown in sales by 20% during 2012.


The aerospace coatings division will use its Eclipse line to apply in the luxurious model that is destined for the airline Emirates for the month of March. The coatings brand had already painted the first 100 and 500 deliveries of the 777.

This line of paints has flexibility, UV resistance and color and gloss retention. It is available worldwide, can be dyed consistently and accurately. It comes in various brightness levels and is also available in many special effects.
