Germany. Sika said it will acquire the coatings and fire systems business line of Rütgers Organics GmbH, thereby seeking to strengthen its position in this sector.
The company stressed that this business generates annual sales of US $ 6,500 million. In addition, with the acquisition, Sika achieves a portfolio of advanced, established, eco-friendly and water-based coatings and systems.
"The combined forces of Sika and Rütgers Organics will provide customers with access to an attractive range of products in all key fire-resistant classes," said Joachim Straub, Managing Director of Sika Germany.
