International. The researcher Martin Joly presented in his PhD thesis the development of a nanostructured coating for the improvement of technologies that convert solar energy into heat and electricity and its optimization with a view to production on an industrial scale.
Two applications were investigated: a chromium-free black selective coating for durable selective absorbers of solar thermal energy and interference orange color filters for photovoltaic collectors with a view to their architectural integration.
Orange allows a new approach in the integration of the roof of photovoltaic modules. A novel photovoltaic module glass has been developed, which meets the market expectations regarding this product, with a reduction in relative performance of 10 to 15% compared to an identical collector without a filter.
