United States. Chemical company Basf announced that it has appointed Eduardo Padilla as its new director of corporate distribution for the North American area, which will be located in Florham Park, New Jersey.
Padilla joined Basf in 2009 as part of the acquisition of Ciba Corp. He has worked in different leading positions in the specialty chemical markets and has worked in the pigments and dispersers business since April of that year.
With this last business area, Padilla successfully implemented a regional distribution strategy to enhance profitable growth following portfolio expansions since the acquisition of Ciba Corp and Cognis Corp.
The corporate steering group reports to the Regional President of North American Market and Business Development and is responsible for coordinating, evaluating and implementing distribution channel programs throughout the region.
