Argentina. With an investment of US$20 million, the firm Sinteplast will begin producing marine paints after the agreement signed with the Japanese company Chugoku Marine Paints.
The agreement includes the transfer of the license and technology for products of this type of paints, which will be marketed in the local market and in other countries in the region such as Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru and Brazil.
With this agreement, the Argentine company estimates to increase its revenues by 11% the same figure that it expects to increase in the hiring of personnel.
Representatives of Sinteplast assured that the agreement took about four years to complete and that the main interest in entering this market arises from its potential from the increase of the international market with Latin America.
