OCQ
The OCQ company launches Fortcryl 6080, an aqueous stretched acrylic copolymer containing 50% solids. This new product is formulated to have medium hardness, excellent resistance to water, alkali and blocking.
Similarly, the resistance to washability is also characteristic in this copolymer, which can be used to formulate exterior and interior paints, primers, adhesives, textured and acrylic stuccos. The Fortcryl 6080 requires low demand for coalescing allowing the formulator to produce a lower cost paint without sacrificing the properties of the paint.
This product does not contain filmogenic auxiliaries, that is, any solvent or plasticizer, so a suitable filmogen auxiliary should be used for each formulation, depending not only on the number of binders of the latex inks, but also taking into consideration, the temperature and relative humidity of air where this ink is going to be applied.
