Germany. The multinational Basf was recognized as the most transparent chemical company in the world, according to the global ranking made by Transparency International, a non-governmental organization that publishes a report on multinational companies from all industrial and commercial sectors.
The chemical company received the Transparency in Corporate Relations recognition, a list that qualifies 105 companies with open capital and that are publicly committed to the transparency of their activities.
The German firm was the winner after the study on the availability of information related to anti-corruption systems, in addition to the transparent way it handles the financial information that companies provide in the countries where they practice.
Basf was also the most voted German company in all the sectors analyzed.
