Brazil. In a recent ceremony held in São Paulo, companies such as Evonik, AkzoNobel, Dow, Clariant, DuPont, Basf, among others, received recognition for their products during the 16th edition of the Paint & Painting Awards.
The multinational company Evonik was highlighted in the categories of Silicon Systems and Tintometrics – Dyes. "We repeat the good performance of the previous year and we are honored to be among the best suppliers in the industry," said Camila Percerini, product manager of inorganic materials.
What already seems to be a tradition, Evonik has always won these same two categories in all editions of the awards.
AkzoNobel, on the other hand, received two awards for the areas of paints for real estate and industrial liquid paints. While Clariant was outstanding in the area of organic pigments and emulsions, and received the Master Company recognition (Top 10). Basf stood out for its raw materials for resins and emulsions, Dow was awarded in the thicknesses and epoxy resins category, and DuPont won in the refinish and titanium dioxide category (DuPont Brazil).
The Paint & Painting Award 2012 selects the best in the sector in 50 categories of which 38 are awarded to suppliers. The survey involves 119 members of the paint industry. To see the full list of winners click here.
