Colombia. The Asociación Colombiana de Corrosión y Protección (Ascor) and the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia (Uptc) developed the program called "Interventoría en aplicación de recubrimientos anticorrosivos", a theoretical-practical course that will be held in Bogotá between March 9 and 17 of this year.
The course aims to strengthen knowledge and strategies for the use of regulations that guarantee quality in the stages of corrosion diagnosis, preparation of technical specifications and on-site monitoring of coating application processes.
With an intensity of 36 hours, the structure of the program will have 12 thematic axes in which topics such as the following stand out: Basic fundamentals of corrosion, Auditing in corrosion control programs, Technology of industrial coatings, Theory in surface preparation, Defectology in coatings, among others.
The topics will be dictated by speakers such as Abel De La Cruz, from Peru, and Colombians Enrique Vera, Gerardo Rodríguez, Quilyam Casallas and Henry Lizcano.
