Argentina. DuPont, through the DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) business division, recently opened its paint manufacturing plant located in Berazategui and will begin with the manufacture of diluents and then continue with paints and end with the operation of a training center for chapistas and car painters.
The plant will produce thinners and cleaning solvents, as well as a color adjustment cell center for the production of paints for the plastic auto parts market. In the same way, it will have a laboratory that will control the solvent-based materials, aqueous and cataphoresis equivalent to carry out tests.
The training center will host application and color courses for students graduating from technical colleges to help them improve productivity.
The president of DuPont Argentina, Juan Manuel Vaquer, said that, "it is relevant for the country that there is the inauguration of a new plant in a headquarters where the company first arrived in the country. "With this inauguration we begin a new stage in the history of DPC and our impact on the automotive and industrial market. We are confident that we will more efficiently and effectively supply the needs of a growing industry, with solutions based on innovation, high technology and premium products."
