Argentina. The Technological School in Coatings announced that from next year at the headquarters of Sater (Argentina) will start a series of intensive courses, of one week each, on raw materials, polymers, additives, formulation, color, quality and application.
The different courses, six in total, ranging from February 6 to March 12, will take elective exams on Saturdays, those who pass the exams receive in addition to the certificate of attendance, a title as a Chemical Formulator of Paintings.
The first course called raw materials will address the topics of solvents, pigments and fillers; the second will focus on polymers; while the third will do so in formulation of flexographic, gravure, lithographic, screen and padographic inks.
Subsequently, in the courses of Formulation I and II the formulation will be taught in different types of paints: powder, for home, work, industrial for wood, artistic, industrial maintenance, marine, for paper among others. Finally, in the Color, Quality and Application course you will focus on occupational safety and environmental protection.
