Rio Tinto Minerals' Luzenac line has developed the new High Aspect Ratio talcs, HAR, which used in polypropylene, become an ideal product for automotive applications, since they have greater dimensional stability, allowing a specific application to be taught.
These talcs are the result of a delamination process that provides unbeatable barrier properties, significantly improving corrosion resistance.
Additionally, it has microspheres of easy dispersion thanks to its ultra fine grinding, they are free of powders; they are inert, natural, free-flowing and reduce the environmental impact on paint formulations.
