Paint preservative

JMAC is an active preservative from Clariant that reduces the spread of bacteria in paints and coatings in the long term, in addition, the thermal stability and ph of its biocides allow its use in a wide range of industrial applications, such as emulsion polymers, sealants and adhesives.

This solution is based on an inorganic compound of silver chloride on titanium dioxide; the released ions interact with Gram+, Gram microorganisms - bacteria, yeasts and molds and the result varies the effect of inhibiting cell growth and death. Thus, the controlled release over a long period of time, ensures the effectiveness of the coating.

Additionally, this product complies with eco-label standards for use in paints and coatings, as it offers antimicrobial properties with low toxicity that minimize environmental impact.
