Coating for high voltage insulators

The ECE 365-50 Sylgard HVIC from Xiameter, is a silicone designed for high-voltage insulators, transformers and other devices of this type, in which surface contamination can lead to insulation problems. Additionally, it offers arc and flame protection as well as resistance to environmental stresses and extreme temperatures.

It has the ability to recover water repellency after contaminants are deposited on its surface. It can be used in applications such as glass, porcelain, composite insulators, as well as in other objects such as fences, used in connecting appliances and in large motors.

This coating minimizes the maintenance requirements of insulators and their associated equipment, eliminating the need for repetitive washing or greasing.
