Peru. The Association of Andean Technicians in Coatings -STAR- will hold in Lima, on March 16 and 17, the twelfth edition of the International Andean Paint Congress 2011, an event with seminars and conferences on new developments, trends and needs, and which is also a meeting place to strengthen relationships between customers and suppliers.
The core academic programming seminar will be taught on March 16 by PhD. Clifford K. Schoff, a scientist at the PPG Industries Inc. Research Center, on "Applied Rheology in Coatings and Similar Materials." There will also be 19 conferences such as "Nitrocellulose and its applications", "Chemistry of the future in the present", "Reduction of VOC's in solvent-based formulations", among others.
Attendees of the congress, which will be held at the Hotel Swissôtel, in the Peruvian capital, will be able to enter the seminar and conferences, and establish business contacts with some of the invited companies, including Oxiteno, Amtex, Bayer, Química Anders, Eastman, Iver, DOW, BASF, among others.
