Croda's Pripol and Priplast coatings are used in the production of polyesters, epoxy resins and polyurethanes, enhancing some characteristics in photocuring systems.Protection of the substrate against moisture, improvement of viscosity, greater flexibility, and resistance to climatic factors and water, are some of the benefits of these products, which are made with renewable raw materials, with a wide variety of colors.
In tests it was shown that by applying Priplast on a thin film of polyester and then exposing it to photocuring with UV light, the urethane acrylates used in the coating have the ability to compensate for internal stresses through the relaxation of the polymer, resulting in less curvature of the sheet.
