Defoamers for low VOC applications

Emerald Performance Materials announced the launch of two defoamers for architectural and industrial coatings, adhesives and other low-VOC latex polymer applications.

The Foam Blast® 290 and Foam Blast® 331 are effective, for low or 0 VOC or ethoxylated alkyl phenol (APE), as they are free defoamers compatible with a wide range of formulations in coatings: from flat systems to high gloss, clear and pigmented.

The Foam Blast 290 is especially effective at fighting foam against time, while retaining shine and excellent clarity in transparent coating and paint systems. Foam Blast 331 controls foam in the long term.
