Mexico. An institutional collaboration agreement was signed by the decentralized body of the Secretariat of Communications and Transport, Airports and Auxiliary Services (ASA) and the Autonomous University of Campeche (UAC), in order to link the educational institution with some branches of the aeronautical sector.
This agreement, which seeks that the University contribute its knowledge and experience to the development of the aeronautical sector in the country, also focuses on the promotion of the analysis and protection against corrosion of the fuel facilities that ASA has in several airports in the country, a network of 63 stations.
For both entities it is vital to carry out these analyses, since the effects of corrosion put at risk the safety of the facilities, especially in areas near the coast such as the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean.
