Cytec Industries Inc. presents its new releases, DUROXYN® VEF 2406 and DUROXYN® EF 2107. Both products have been created as emulsion coatings for architectural wood in order to protect it from tannin, avoiding the use of expensive reactive pigments.VEF 2406 is referred to as the first barrier and EF 2107 is a liquid resin coating. These resins provide a platform for faster drying of coatings with excellent repainting properties. The coatings are less than 100 g/l of VOC and match or exceed the performance properties of conventional solventborne blockages for tannin.
