Europe. Wacker Chemie introduced a range of new solvent-free silicone coatings for consumer goods under the name DEHESIVE 971.
This platinum catalyst, with its cured silicone polymers, manages with only small amounts of the platinum catalyst to make a complete curing. This range offers a reduction of up to 60 percent in the amount of precious metals required compared to the other products.
Low-platinum systems, based on DEHESIVE 971, can be used in high-speed coating lines due to their increased reactivity.
