USA Global chemical products and specialty manufacturer Sartomer has launched a new line of acrylate oligomers for photovoltaic applications. The products are formulated based on hydrogenated polybutadiene or polybutadiene and, according to the company, are ideal ingredients for the formulation of barrier coatings, sealants, adhesives, among others.These Sartomer oligomers offer good chemical resistance, so they produce films that are flexible and have a low Tg. In the same way, they offer additional benefits of color and stability in their physical properties against the degradation caused by light and the environment.
