Herbol®, Akzo Nobel's brand for professional architectural paints and cladding, presented in Cologne the first façade cladding based on BASF's innovative COL.9® nano-binder. The secret? Facades clad with Herbol-Symbiotec™ show much less impurity collection and excellent colour retention.
Herbol-Symbiotec is the result of many years of development collaboration between Akzo Nobel and BASF. "It is extremely important for us to have found such an experienced and competent partner as Azko Nobel to commercialize our innovative COL.9 binder," says Jan-Peter Sander, head of BASF's regional Construction Polymers and Adhesives business unit.
