The previous week the presence of engineer Juan José Caprari was confirmed as a special speaker for the 2011 version of CUBRECOL AMERICAS that brings, for the first time, a component dedicated to the formulation of coatings.
Caprari is part of the Center for Research in Paints, CIDEPINT, argentina, which for several years has specialized in the research of topics related to the operation of coatings, their formulation and their application.
Caprari will give two lectures related to voC control in formulations and surface preparation before application. "In surface preparation I have worked in research and development. In that talk we will see how to select the most appropriate abrasive pretreatment, the importance in particle size and the new hydro-sanding systems," Caprari explained.
He added that the VOC control talk will address issues such as the importance of reducing the level of solvents, alternatives for that replacement, solutions for high-thickness coatings, among others.
"Cubrecol is known throughout Latin America for the quality of its exhibitors, the possibilities of making new commercial and technical friendships. The colleagues who have been there have been impressed with the quality," caprari said when asked about his participation in the fair.
Cubrecol will be held on September 29 and 30 at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center in the city of Medellín, Colombia.
