Colombia. Two weeks after its start, CUBRECOL AMERICAS has already exceeded the number of registered and confirmed attendees, compared to the statistics of the previous year.
The organization of the fair confirmed the academic program with Cidepint and Venmark as special guests, and reported the presence of engineer Daniel Guzmán, a consultant specialized in the hydrocarbons sector, to accompany the corrosion component.
Engineer Guzmán is recognized as one of the most experienced contractors in the corrosion and oil sector in Colombia, under the guidance of his company Gavar Ltda. His most recent experience is Campo Rubiales, one of the largest crude oil exploitation centers in Colombia, belonging to the multinational Pacific Rubiales Energy Company.
Guzmán will be accompanied by Quilyam Casallas, president of Ascor, Mauricio Ochoa, of Polyuprotec; Miguel Mateus, from Ecopetrol; and Juan Guillermo Maya, from ISA in the corrosion component; as well as a group of professionals with outstanding experience in topics related to the formulation and application of coatings.
The academic program (click aquí para verla) will be complemented by a commercial exhibition in which the main suppliers of raw materials and equipment participate, as well as paint formulators from all over Latin America.
Those who attend CUBRECOL AMERICAS as exhibitors, attendees or speakers, and come from other cities or countries, will have the possibility to participate in a tour of the city aboard the Turibus, a transport and tourist information system that runs through the main attractions of Medellín.
CUBRECOL AMERICAS is the main event for formulation and application of coatings and corrosion control, and will take place on September 29 and 30 at the Plaza Mayor convention center in Medellín, Colombia.
