Environmental and corrosion acceleration testing equipment allows components and panels to be tested with a coating, providing accurate simulations to establish their performance when exposed to the elements.
C&W salt spray cabinets are used to test coated components and panels for corrosion resistance in the automotive, paint, surface coating, chemical, aerospace, electronics and defense industries, in compliance with international standards.
For their part, moisture cabinets are designed to reproduce high humidity test conditions at constant temperatures or in cycles. Water vapor saturates the air in the test area that constantly circulates through the internal fan to ensure an even distribution, allowing the water to be absorbed by the coating and causing oxidation in the metal, which causes blisters to form on the paint.
The enclosures are designed to operate in any combination of the following conditions in any sequence for a preset time.
