This new formula allows manufacturers to access the full benefit of graphene materials seeking gradually changing anti-corrosion performance, especially in harsh environmental conditions.
Incorporated into the formulation of an industry-standard C3 epoxy primer system and tested in representative cyclic salt spray tests, the Genable 3000 has been shown to offer a five times longer shelf life.
As an additive capable of offering metal-free systems with extended durability, it would be applicable in C4-type environments, possibly C5, such as in high-humidity industrial applications of the shipping and maritime types.
