Lubrizol Corporation's Aptalon W8062 high-performance polyurethane dispersion is a 1K dispersion specifically designed to withstand the rigor of high traffic in residential, commercial and sports wood floor coverings.
Aptalon W8062 is a self-cross-linking resin transported by water that provides excellent resistance to hydrolysis, a wide variety of chemicals and abrasion while providing very high hardness. It offers the impact and abrasion resistance needed for high-traffic applications, while maintaining excellent gloss and finish throughout the life of the floor.
This resin has no NMP, NEP or APEO, which meets or exceeds the performance properties of many 2K solvent-based finishes without the need for external cross-linkers.
In addition, it can be adapted to provide high scratch and wear resistance, high chemical resistance, water resistance, thermal degradation and very high hardness.
