The DeFelsko PosiTector Soluble Salt Tester is a probe for detecting soluble salt concentration on metal surfaces or saline contamination, according to ISO 8502-6 and 8502-9 standards, with an easy-to-use three-step interface that guides users through the Bresle test method.
The SST probe is part of the interchangeable PosiTector platform, which allows any meter to be connected to the PosiTector instrument. It shows the duration of the test, sample temperature, conductivity (μS/cm) and surface density (mg/m2 or μg/cm²).
It also has the function of automatic storage of a background measurement, useful for when multiple tests are carried out that require a frame of reference.
Ideal for determining water-soluble contaminants in non-metallic jet media and includes a selection of kits with the necessary elements to recover and analyze soluble salts on surfaces. It is resistant to solvents, acids, oils, water and dust, and features USB, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity to PosiSoft software for PC, Mac and Smartphone.
