Sun Chemical has launched Benda-Lutz COMPAL WS, a VOC-free aluminium pigment for ink preparation and coatings. Designed for the long-term stability of gasification in aqueous environments, it can be used in both aqueous systems and solvent-based systems, giving maximum flexibility to the formulation.
COMPAL WS insurance and its long-term stability in water- and ink-based coatings, allows manufacturers to have sustainable coatings from low to zero VOC. Solvent-free pigments are non-flammable, which represents safety at all stages of distribution and application.
The foliation and non-foliation of intermediate pigments have been developed and can be applied in both the cornflake and silver dollar types, giving a wide range of optical effects, including those of high metallic luster for direct silver or tinted industrial coatings.
Each grade of this product is delivered in an easy form of granular dispersion for safe handling, improving storage stability and numerous advantages for transport.
