Evonik's DEGALAN VP P 34 is a binder for plastic coatings, a granulated polymer based on metalacrylates. This product reduces the complexity of the coating formulation because only a single binder and a single solvent are necessary.
DEGALAN VP P 34 is characterized by its hardness, its resistance to weathering, light and chemical substances, as well as its excellent resistance to oil and alcohol. The binder has a moisturizing behavior superior to that of pigments.
This binder is used for the manufacture of coatings for plastics, PVC, ABS and impact-modified polystyrene. Its formulations can be applied directly to the aluminium foil so that the primers or formulations are left with a PVC-based adhesion promoter.
