Celanese is expanding its line of emulsions with new products. Among them is EcoVAE 450, ideal for low-odor primer applications; This product has excellent adhesion on both wet and dry surfaces for a variety of substrates including alkyds, ceramics and aluminum.
On the other hand is Avicor 385, a new APE-free acrylic vinyl, designed to give superior performance in exterior and interior paints; the combination of its high molecular weight, makes it excellent for film formation and resistant to water and stains while exhibiting hardness and durability.
Finally there is Avicor 390, an acrylic vinyl emulsion which exhibits excellent stain resistance.
