Torrey Pines Scientific announces its new Fully programmable Echo Therm agitator model SC25XT with 5 memory programs and a temperature range from -20°C to +100°C. It has a variable orbital speed of agitation for mixing samples while controlling their temperature.
Includes a 30-day countdown timer with alarm, auto off, and RES232 I/O port for data logging or unit control from a computer.
The SC25XT, among its accessories includes blocks for samples, available in centrifuge tubes of 0.2, 0.5, 1.5, 15 and 50 ml, 2 ml vials, 20ml scintillation vials, PCR tubes and plates, 96-well and 384-well test plates of all shapes, deep well and other blocks of different sizes. The unit is Peltier powered by cooling and heating.
It is an excellent molecular biological tool that can be used for the operation of the time and temperature profile, unattended digestions or restriction ligatures, automatic enzymatic reactions and deactivations, storage of oocytes at 17°C and storage of DNA libraries.
