Sodasil P95 is an amorphous aluminum and sodium silicate used as a white pigment in paints, printing inks and paper, as a substitute for up to 30% of titanium dioxide, increasing coating power and whiteness, by improving opacity.
Its small particle size makes it suitable for formulation of aqueous dispersion paint for exteriors and interiors, solvent-based paints, industrial coatings, varnishes and printing inks. It is also useful as a fluidizing and anti-peeling agent.
Being a substitute for TiO2, it allows savings in the formulation, greater stability of the paint during storage, as it acts as an anti-sedimenting agent and regulator of viscosity and pH, and reduces the specific weight of the paint.
