Coapur 520 W is a balanced thickener for decorative paints, enamels, inks and adhesives that provides very good leveling in satin paints and significantly improves splash resistance, while also offering some non-stick properties.
The product is a water-soluble non-ionic polyurethane thickener. It is free of solvent ethoxylate and alkylphenols (APEO) and is designed for water-based coatings, giving them high coating capacity due to its high associative efficacy with all types of binders, in particular 0-VOC binders such as VAE.
It is a cost-effective and easy-to-use product due to its low viscosity and progressive thickening effect. It is highly effective in low to medium PVC formulations. The service life is 12 months and is ideal for use in products for the automotive and industrial industries, furniture and flooring or architectural coatings.
