The KU-3 viscometer is a fully digital Krebs unit calculation instrument, with display displaying results in Krebs units, grams and centipoises for paints, coatings and inks, and even adhesives.
The equipment complies with measurement according to the ASTM D562 standard.
Features include magnetic shaft coupling, allows rapid measurement of samples to determine required consistency, and has accuracy at ± 1% of the full scale range.
It is an easy-to-use equipment, without weights, its base has capacity for standard cans of pinta, 1/2 pinta and quarter of a gallon. It includes a Krebs spindle, a communications port for printer and adapter for cans of a pint and a half pint.
