Induskol T is a sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) product designed for various coatings, including inks, dough paste, texture, graphite and quartz.
The product presents a better performance in vinyl-acrylic emulsions. Styrene-acrylic emulsions also allow their use, but require a good balance of the formulation. It also confers rheological characteristics suitable for the grinding of loads at the production stage.
Its characteristics include solubility in cold or hot water that produces a viscous solution with neutral pH, and insolubility in organic solvents, although its aqueous solution is able to withstand certain amounts of these.
It also has a high water retention capacity and can act in the control of rheology or simply for thickening, as well as suspension agent and syneresis control.
