Evonik developed three solvent-free sliding additives from the Tego Glide water-based line, adapted to various applications and their characteristics, as adjusting to the desired effect on coatings is difficult and often requires yielding on requirements.
The three products in the Tego Glide line are:
Tego Glide 490 for lacquering furniture. It combines anti-lock properties with excellent compatibility.
Tego Glide 492 with weather resistance and compliance with eco-label requirements, is suitable for cost-effective formulations in the area of finishing and DIY coatings.
Tego Glide 494 meets requirements on haptic properties and chemical resistance in leather and printing applications and provides high abrasion resistance.
