Evonik's TEGO liquid adhesion promoter resins for paint formulations decrease VOC content, boast excellent flow properties and are suitable for food contact.
These products also reduce viscosity, without increasing the VOC content of the coating. This combination of characteristics allows their use as adhesive resins in applications with high solids content.
These polyester resins are formulated to add to an existing coating system, and are particularly useful for industrial elements and tools that are not painted and require a long service life, chemical and environmental resistance.
The resin line has two products, the TEGO AddBond LP 1611 that has low impact on the final hardness of the coating and the TEGO AddBond LP 1600 that reduces the VOC content in the final coating due to the inherent low viscosity of the resin.
