Angus' AEPD VOX 1000 multifunctional amine neutralizing additive is designed for indoor water-based paints, with low odor and low VOC, high boiling point and low vapor pressure, a formulation element especially for paints that require compliance with EU Directive 2004/42/EC.
Compared to other neutralizing amines, AEPD VOX 1000 offers high performance overall, when considering odor, VOC, wet and dry film characteristics.
It is chemically and functionally similar to the brand's AMP (2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol) with an additional hydroxyl group that allows for greater freeze resistance and lower volatility.
The multifunctional nature of the neutralizing amino alcohol AEPD VOX 1000 allows a significant reduction in primary dispersant, antifoamer, glycols and coalescing agents, allowing cost optimization, helps control pH and reduce viscosity.
