A new coating that provides chemical and abrasive resistance as well as high impermeability has been developed based on glass flakes.This product, created by Renner Herrmann Marine and Industrial Maintenance, provides the basic characteristics required by equipment and tanks that transport highly corrosive products such as oil or training water, as well as offering safety and optimizing work.
The Revran NVC DHR 870 GF, is composed of novolac epoxy cured with differentiated polyamines, state-of-the-art glass flakes with particle size control, which adds high levels of performance and ease of application.
Other advantages of this solution is that it can be applied in large areas in a single layer and with its total of organic solvents. It is a NoVOC product and they have high flash point – above 100°C – which minimizes the risk of fires and explosions during application.
This solution has been tested by Petrobras and meets the elements required by the N-1201 J standard, layer III.
