International. AkzoNobel announced that it has signed an extension of its agreement with McLaren Automotive with which it will continue to provide the automotive manufacturer with high-performance coatings, working as a technical partner.
The two parties – the first to start the collaboration five years ago – will continue to work together to develop and create the colours of McLaren's range of road car models: the Super Series and Ultimate Series, as well as the newly launched Sports Series.
Commenting on the announcement, Conrad Keijzer, akzoNobel Executive Committee member responsible for high-performance coatings, said: "We are delighted to expand our technical partnership with McLaren Automotive. Both companies share a passion and commitment to customer service and innovation and we look forward to seeing the results of our collaboration on McLaren's latest car series."
