Brazil. German company Weilburger Graphics, based in Gerhardshofen, Franconia, reported that it has taken over Brazilian coatings producer Heliocolor, taking immediate control of its operations.
The 5,000 square meter head office is located 25 km south of São Paulo in São Bernardo do Campo and has a great transport connection. The company has established itself in the printing industry as well as floorcoating for over twenty years, and currently produces coatings with almost 30 employees. At present, its annual sales are approx. 2,000 tons, of which 80% are water-based varnishes and the remaining 20% are UV varnishes, silicones, emulsions and epoxy-based varnishes. Its maximum production capacity is currently approx. 6,000 tons per year.
Heliocolor belongs to the most recognized and important suppliers for coatings for the graphic industry in Brazil with a main focus on food packaging, as well as high-quality coatings for the graphic industry.
