International. International chemical group Solvay announced that it has increased the capacity of its Neolor product line by 50%. This additional capacity allows the company to serve the growing market demand for high stability inorganic pigments.
The new line is a unique range of inorganic earth plastic coloring pigments that offer shades of light orange to red and confer benefits such as the following:
- Aging resistance: excellent performance for outdoor applications such as power tools, lawn and gardening equipment, sporting goods, car parts, etc.
- Thermal stability: suitable for powder coating and for use in high-performance polymers processed at high temperatures up to 320 °C.
This new product is a soft inorganic crystal pigment, suitable for glass-reinforced plastics, as long as the mechanical properties of fiberglass remain unchanged.
