Brazil. General Motors (GM) awarded Sika Brasil the Supplier Quality Excellence Award during a ceremony held in São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo. Sika received the award in the Outdoor Body category.
The award is given to the best suppliers that meet GM's strict quality criteria. Suppliers are evaluated on thirteen specific quality requirements that must show above-standard performance, and suppliers must have demonstrated their commitment to quality excellence and exceptional performance.
This is the second time Sika Automotive Brasil has received this award from GM, after having received it in 2012. Sika Automotive supplies GM South America with SikaBaffle®, SikaDamp® and SikaReinforcer® sanding parts and materials for body and paint applications.
