Colombia. Starting February 9, Carboline will hold the real-time virtual course "Basic Fundamentals for Coating Inspection," which will also offer practice and final evaluation in person.
Within the course content, participants will see topics such as Coatings Basics: reviewing coating basic concepts and the importance of knowing them to achieve the objectives of durable corrosion protection. Regulations Related to The Inspection of Coatings: review of the current and updated standards for the inspection of coatings according to international standards such as NACE, SSPC and ASTM. Workshop and Field Tests: a practical workshop will be held to strengthen knowledge and allow attendees to familiarize themselves with the use of coating inspection equipment in accordance with international regulations.
The real-time virtual segment of the course will take place during the week (10 days), from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (local time).
The face-to-face segment will be held on Saturdays, in a single six-hour day, between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with one session per city: Bogotá, Cali, Barrancabermeja, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Villavicencio, Medellín and Cartagena. between the months of February and March 2015.
