Mexico. Celanese Corporation announced that it will invest in a new technology and commercial center that will support the growth of Celanese's customers in Latin America, boost the technical capabilities of the product portfolio and ensure that the company is growing with its global customer base.
The new center will serve industries such as automotive, consumer electronics, appliances, medical devices, petrochemicals and aerospace. A team of technologists will support customers in the region, who are accelerating global product innovations for engineering polymers, food ingredients, adhesives, paints and coatings, mining and consumer products.
The company announced its first center in Mexican territory as part of its 70th anniversary developing business in this country. "Companies around the world are attracted to Mexico and the region because of their innovation in technology and manufacturing and growth prospects," said Mark Rohr, president and CEO of Celanese.
