An annual rate of 5% growth is anticipated through 2018 including rheology modifiers, foam control agents, wetting agents, dispersants, and sliding and rubbing materials.
Rheology modifiers are the largest type of additive accounting for almost 40% of tons in 2013. Dispersants are the second additive by volume with one fifth of the tonnes.
Foam control additives are third in volume, accounting for 17% of tons in 2013. Also, wetting agents account for 11% of the tons of additives.
