Colombia. From March 21 to 24, the course on Coating Application Auditing will be held in Bogotá, organized by the Colombian Association of Protection and Corrosion (Ascor).
The course aims to train and qualify professionals involved in auditing and quality assurance processes for activities related to the application of coatings for corrosion control in conduction lines, storage and process tanks, metal structures and infrastructure equipment.
Some of the topics that will be taught in the course are Fundamentals of corrosion in metal surfaces, Auditing and integrity in corrosion control programs, Technology in Industrial coatings for corrosion control, Characterization and design of coating schemes for corrosion control, Regulations in surface preparation for coating application, Methods of application of industrial coatings, among others.
