Colombia. The new course of the Colombian Association of Corrosion and Protection (Ascor) called Application of Coatings will be held in the city of Bogotá from March 3 to 8.
Some of the topics that will be observed in the course are the following: Coating Technology, Standards and procedures of surface preparation (abrasive jet, mechanical and manual techniques), Coating application techniques (manual methods, spraying with airless and low pressure equipment), Interpretation of technical sheets and coating mixing process, Quality control in coating application processes (EPH calibration, EPS, adhesion, film continuity, environmental conditions), Handling of safety sheets, Industrial Safety in coating application.
The course schedules are Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (field practices). Learn more at www.ascornacional.org and [email protected]
